 During the recent visit of Linda Murray and Evelyn Houielliebecq from Cardiff, the Gateway School celebrated it's 3rd anniversary. Linda took the opportunity to open a new computer room at the school, dedicated to the memory of her husband Kelvin.  New

 

When: July 10th - 20th 2012 tbc Gary Smith (Ignite) will be leading a trip to India to observe and participate in the work of Ignite India and Gateway ministries. Participants can expect to experience visiting Ignite churches in a variety of rural and hill

 

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, Ignite celebrated in nearly 60 places. Many young people participated in these events, which included Christian scripts and dances performed by our Ignite youth. We were blessed by God to spread His name. Please

 

On 26th December 2011 twenty children moved into the Children's Home on the Gateway School complex. As you can see from the photos they are already enjoying themselves playing volley ball, skipping and having some very good food. We praise God for this

 

 On the recent Third Day concert tour of the USA, Nigel James took with him a selection of paintings created by children from the Gateway School. One painting was auctioned each night in the VIP fan reception, and the final total of money raised was over

 

Pastor Prasad led a 4 day conference in Gummuluru Ignite India Church from the 27th-30th Oct. It was an amazing time with many people attending and there was a great sense of a revival happening in that village for which we praise God. However tragically

 

Pastor Prasad and his team have been visiting some new areas following the recent acquisition of an all terrain vehicle provided by supporters of Ignite. They held youth and church meetings in many villages for the first time and reached lots of young people

 

The Church Family at Penipeta can hardly believe 2 years has passed since their new building opened its doors to worship and teaching. They praise God for all that's been achieved over the years.

 

During their time in India, Ignite UK Directors, Gary Smith and Nigel James were able to buy Pastor Prasad a much needed car. Ignite India supporters have been collecting to provide him with this over the last year or so. The car will transform his ability

 

Jamie, a Third Day fan from Phoenix in Arizona, has given up a trip to Europe so that she could see first hand the work of Gateway ministries in Rajahmundry. When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the kindness of the Indian people.  They are very

 

Gary Smith and Nigel James, Directors of South Wales based youth ministry, Ignite, safely arrived on the July 7th July. Together with the rest of the team which includes: Chloe Roberts, Lesley Smith, Linda Murray, Laura Jefferies, Alun Mathias and Cardiff

 

The Gateway School has recently opened for its 3rd academic year and has welcomed around 100 new pupils. With some classrooms still not completely finished this places some pressure on the facilities, but funds are soon to arrive to finish the partially built

 

 Mission teams from the UK and the USA travel to Rajahmundry in the next couple of weeks. A team from City Temple and Ignite in Cardiff, under the leadership of Nigel James and Gary Smith, will first of all be there, whilst Nigel stays on for an extra

 

Pastor Prasad has safely returned to Rajahmundry from a successful trip to the USA to partner with Pastor Ben Gates in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Ben has led mission teams out twice to Gateway ministries, and organised a fund raising dinner for Prasad in Fort Wayne.

 

Pastor Prasad, who runs Gateway Ministries in India, has recently held a series of open air meetings in the village of M R Palem. As you can see from the photos they were very well attended by local youth from the area. There was a competition for local

 

We are delighted to see the 2 x family centres as finished buildings on the Gateway School complex. Here are a couple of pictures of the children enjoying their break time out in the sunshine. We praise God for all those who support prayerfully and financially

Ignite are delighted to show the first picture of one of the two family homes currently being built for orphans who live near to the Gateway School. When the buildings are completed the children will be cared for in a family type setting and will attend

 

Thanks to the generosity of Campus Ministry, Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA, the Gateway School children now have 2 swings to play on!

 

A team of volunteers from City Temple Cardiff, led by Alison Sutherland returned just before Christmas from working with Pastor Prasad and Gateway MInistries in the area of HIV and AIDS awareness. Alison reports that the team: Led 14 seminars in villages.
